SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT
(Must be a driver and have access to own car)

Do you have the Passion and Experience to lead a care team in supporting older people and Vulnerable adult in the community?
We are looking for experienced Senior Care Assistants who have a passion to care for the elderly and Vulnerable adult to join a well-established Home Care provider specialist in providing individualised care package to support and enable people to maintain their independence in the comfort of their own home.
At least a years’ experience of leading a team is essential, you will be a confident communicator and will be able to demonstrate leadership qualities when overseeing the care team.
A driving license and a reliable car are essential for the role!!!
This role will involve providing personal care for female clients.
The successful Senior Care Assistant will be expected to complete tasks including but not limited to:
·To Lead the caring team, working with and supporting others as necessary.
·Maintain service users’ independence, autonomy and choice; promoting dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
·To deliver a high standard of personal care, and support and instruct less experienced staff to deliver care to the same standard.
·Participate in the on-call rota alongside your Care Coordinator
·Training and Shadowing of new staff
·Ensure Carers are fully trained and shadowing has been implemented to the required standards
·To help develop enriched care plans and provides a high standard of care to meet the needs of each and every service user.
·Working alongside the Manager and Care Coordinator to monitor staff performance, carry out supervisions and annual performance reviews
·Ensure customer care/support plans and risk assessments are followed and regularly reviewed
·To Promote the company as a centre of excellence in Person-Centred Care.
·Excellent rate of pay (£12.00 P/H)

·You will need to be caring and have a flexible attitude to work.
·Good written and verbal English communication skills
·Good basic computer skills
·1 year experience as a Team Leader/Senior Carer (Minimum)
·NVQ Level 3/4 Health & Social Care (Required)
·Available to work alternate weekends
·Be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check
·Right to work in the UK
